Text Box: INSTITUTO CULTURAL MEXICANO
de TUCSON

The Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Tucson is a non-profit organization, dedicated to showcasing Mexican culture in  Tucson and Sonora.  Our organization strives to bring artists and performers together to enhance Tucson’s cultural and artistic diversity. Please take a look at these following pages to see what we are about and perhaps attend some of our events which are free to the public.

There is so much that the ICMT has done over the years and is planning to do in the future.

The Instituto would like to thank Mayor Rothschild for granting to the Instituto the petition of the Tucson Proclamation for our Mexican Independence Celebration.  We would like to thank Juan Padres for representing the Mayor at the presentation ceremony.   In addition, we would like to thank the Mexican Counsul, Sr. Ricardo Pineda Albarran and Sra. Virginia Pineda.  Also a thank you to each and everyone  of the companies who either donated money or gave us money through sponsorship.  Their logos are surrounding this note.  Thank you everyone who helped in any way to make this annual celebration a success.

Below is a slideshow of the history of our group’s events.
